Nellore: 38,179 students to attend SSC exams from Nellore district

Nellore: Over 38,179 students from 190 centres will appear for the SSC examinations to be conducted from March 23. District Revenue Officer G Mallikarjun conducted a review meeting at the ZP premises on Wednesday in this regard and directed the officials to arrange CCTV footage at the problematic centres in the district.

He said the examinations will be held from 9.30 am to 12.15 pm and asked the officials of the education department to arrange adequate furniture, lighting, water, and other amenities at the centres for the convenience of students.

He also directed the officials to install CCTVs at all problematic centres for preventing malpractices by the students. He asked the police officials to impose Section 144 at the examination centres during the examination hours and asked to provide adequate security for bringing question papers to the examination centres and also shifting answer sheets to the storagerooms. He said they had identified 59 storage points and 22 routes for conducting the examinations. He also said there would be continuous vigil by the flying squads and other teams to monitor the exams.

He also asked the officials from the postal department to reach the answer sheets to the spot valuation centres on the day of examination itself.
