Nellore: Migrant labourers stage protests for shifting

Nellore: Odisha-based migrant labourers staged a protest in front of the Loyal Textile Mills Ltd in Menakuru here on Saturday demanding they be returned to their places. They accused the company of forcing them to work in the factory. They said that village secretariat staff were not responding to their protests. But secretariat staff are saying they need a letter from the management of the factory to shifting them to their native places.

Further, migrant labourers from Bihar sat on the main road in Rajupalem in Kodavalur mandal demanding their shifting. They vowed to continue stir on the road till officials agree to do so.
