Nellore: Minister Dr P Anil Kumar Yadav says government committed to graft-free governance

Nellore: Minister for Water Resources Dr P Anil Kumar Yadav said that even though the ruling YSR Congress had completed 90 per cent of its election manifesto, still, it has been taking up brainstorming exercise for continuing the graft-free and transparent rule in the state.

Addressing media after participating in Mana Palana–Mee Suchana at the ZP Conference Hall on Monday, he said the brainstorming sessions will be commencing from May 30 for six days.

"This is basically meant for reviewing the progress that they had achieved and for planning for the next four years," he said. Anil said the state government had introduced the Village/Ward Secretariat system in a novel way for implementing the welfare activities in a faster way giving no scope for delay and corruption. Around 4 lakh avenues have been created with the system for jobless youth in the state, he said.

District collector M V Seshagiri Babu, who participated in the second session, suggested to the staff members of the Village/Ward Secretariats to be attentive in resolving local issues working hard up to the expectations of the government. They should be responsible for all activities and asked them to be vigilant, he said.

Joint Collector N Prabhakar Reddy said that it is the fundamental responsibility of the volunteers and staff members of secretariats to educate the people on various schemes, and programmes for their knowledge and for better involvement in the programmes.

ZP CEO P Suseela explained about various schemes and programmes and demonstrated a Power Point presentation on the roadmap for the coming four years.
