Nellore: YSRC leaders collect separate tax from contractors, alleges Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy
Nellore: TDP district spokesperson Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy alleged that irregularities have been occurring in the district with the support of Minister Anil Kumar and Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy.
The TDP leader addressed media persons at party office here on Thursday and demanded the minister to order for a probe into the irregularities to prove his sincerity.

He stated that he would apologise unconditionally if his allegations are proved wrong.
"It is a new culture in the city that PK Tax is being collected from the contractors and encroachers for continuing their irregularities," Ramana Reddy said. He alleged that Rs. 7 crore were misused from the works taken up with 14th Finance Commission funds.
He said all these works are being done in the Municipal limits where Minister Anil Kumar is representing. The works include canals, culverts, and roads in Janardhan Reddy Colony, Saluchintala, and Venkateswara Puram areas.
Rs. 25-30 crore were spent on them, but poor quality is maintained in the works and sand was supplied without waybills.
Even the District Collector has not been responding on such misdeeds, he lamented. He announced that he would be filing a write in the High Court on June 16. Local leaders were present
