Nephew of Amanchi Krishna Mohan threatens home guard after using filthy language on police
Ongole: The Epurupalem police received a complaint against the nephew of former Chirala MLA and YSR Congress Party leader Amanchi Krishna Mohan alleging that he threatened to cut off the latter's hands and legs, from a home guard working in the same station.
According to the complaint, Suriboyina Ravi Kumar Reddy is working as a home guard in the Epurupalem police station. He received a call from Amanchi Rajendra, son of Amanchi Swamulu, brother of the Amanchi Krishna Mohan on Tuesday afternoon. The home guard said that Rajendra used filthy language against him and other police officials. He said that the YSRCP leader threatened him of chopping legs and hands. He complained the station officer that few people are following him and pleaded to provide security to him and his family after investigating the case.
The audio clip submitted in a DVD to the police consists of a phone conversation in which a person identified himself as Amanchi Rajendra used objectionable language against the home guard and other police officials. He warned the home guard to mind own business to live safe or he will chop off the latter's hands and legs.
The accused, Amanchi Rajendra is not available for a comment even after multiple attempts by The Hans India. The Epurupalem SI Vemula Sudhakar said that the complaint refers to non-congnigible offence and they are forwarding it to the court for directions. He said that a case will be booked and investigated if the court orders them to do so.
