New ASP takes charge M Deepika in Kurnool

Kurnool: M Deepika has taken the charge as Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Kurnool on Tuesday. She is the first woman officer of IPS cadre posted to Kurnool in the capacity of ASP.

Addressing the media, Deepika stated that she will discharge duties with utmost responsibility. She explained of using latest technology to streamline the law and order problems.

Prior to Deepika, Anjaneyulu had served as the ASP. He was posted to Nandyal as Officer on Special Duty (OSD). Anjaneyulu has also taken the charge as Nandyal OSD on Tuesday. Prior to taking charge as ASP, she formally met Kurnool Range DIG Venkatarami Reddy and SP Fakkeerappa and handed over them flower bouquets.
