New body elected for Rajaka Chaitanya Sangam

Kakinada: The newly-formed Rajaka Chaitanya Sangam will strive to solve the problems of Rajakas in East Godavari. The sangam was formed at the meet organised at Rajaka Bhavan at Indrapalem in Kakinada rural mandal on Sunday.

The following have been elected as office-bearers for the Rajaka Chaitanya Sangam. Chodavarapu Satyanarayana as president, Ponnuru Narayana as vice-president, Pakalapati Mani Kumar as secretary and Chindana Suribabu as joint secretary.

The newly-formed association made several resolutions. These include houses and house sites and various government schemes to poor among the community. In addition to this, the association will strive for higher education to the wards of washerwomen in the district. Representatives of several Rajaka associations from different places attended.
