New Liquor Policy From October 1- Revenue Minister Narayanaswamy

Excise Minister Narayanaswamy said the new liquor policy would be implemented in Andhra Pradesh from October 1. Speaking to the media on Saturday, he said that people are divided over suppression alcohol. The government currently operates 450 shops. The minister said 3500 shops would be inaugurated from October 1. The minister said that outsourcing and contracting employees are recruited to run these shops.

"Excise Department officials will monitor to prevent corruption anywhere. We have sent a proposal for 678 new excise constable posts. Women and the Opposition should also support this move." the minister added

" We talked to collectors and assured jobs who are holding the belt shops. We will soon decide on the prices. We operate state-run shops from 10 am to 9 pm. We also discuss the timing of bar shops." Minister asserted.
