New SP Bhaskar Bhushan takes charge in Nellore

Nellore: Bhaskar Bhushan took charge as the Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office in the city on Sunday and received a guard of honour from the district police.

Interacting with the media at his chamber, Bhaskar Bhushan said that he would lay focus on law and order situation, crime investigation, traffic issues, the safety of women and also on the welfare of the police personnel. Bhaskar Bhushan also said that he would take stern action against mafia activities in mining, betting and red sander smuggling in the district.

He said that they would utilise advanced technology for the crime investigation. He further said that he had earlier worked as ASP in Kothagudem, Bellampalli and also as SP of West Godavari and also as AIG (Admin) at the DGP's office in Mangalagiri. Additional SP (Crimes) P Manohar Rao, Additional S P (AR) S Veerabhadrudu, SB DSP N Kota Reddy and others were present.
