Visakhapatnam: New VMRDA Commissioner asks staff to digitise old files
Visakhapatnam: P Koteswara Rao took charge as Commissioner of Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) at his office on Wednesday. He called on VMRDA Chairman Dronamraju Srinviasa Rao, who expressed his good wishes and assured to work together for the development of Visakhapatnam in tune with the expectations of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Later, speaking with the staff, Koteswara Rao called his stint at VMRDA as a great fortune and offered all support to render his services. He instructed the staff that all the old files should be digitalised to protect and preserve the data for future use. After taking charge, he visited different floors of building and discussed with the officials. He stated that he wanted to involve technical experts to solve computer-related issues. Later, he visited the IT department and directed the staff to keep the website updated regularly with all the information on VMRDA available on the website.
