Newly born girl found dead in canal at Vizianagaram district

Bobbili: In a tragic incident, a newly born baby girl's dead body was found floating in a canal near Polavanivalasa at Bobbili town in Vizianagaram district.

It's said that someone has brought the baby in a bag and thrown the child in the canal and left the bag on the site. With this, the infant has died in the water. The locals who noticed the floating body in the canal suspects that the baby was immediately thrown after the birth.

As this incident happened just near to the ICDS office in the town, the police and ICDS officials have reached the spot and inspected the site. The police have registered a case and investigating further.
