NGT accorded permission to capital Amaravati
Amaravati: TDP MLA Anagani Satyaprasad said the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has clearly mentioned in its report that there is no flood threat to the Amaravati capital region.
He asked the State government to explain the details about the environment clearances for Amaravati given by the NGT.
During the Question Hour in the Assembly here on Tuesday, he said the NGT also opined that the capital city is required to get financial growth.
On the other hand, Minister Botcha Satyanarayana said the government would develop the plots of farmers. He said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had already announced his stand on the capital city.
He said that the State government was ready to debate on all the issues pertaining to the State capital.
