Nine severely injured as van overturns in West Godavari district

Jangareddigudem: In an incident, nearly nine members sustained severe injuries in a road accident when a van carrying them to Gubbala Mangamma temple has overturned at Jangareddigudem in West Godavari district. This accident happened when the van lost control at a turning near Srinivasapuram - Akkampeta here in the Mandal.

At the time of the incident, they were about 22 members travelling in the vehicle, who belongs to Vissakoderu village near Bhimavaram and were on the way to Gubbala Mangamma temple.

In the accident, nine devotees sustained severe injuries, and one is said to be in critical condition. On receiving the information, 108 ambulance service reached the spot and rushed the injured to the Jangareddigudem area hospital for treatment.
