No question of compromising against the crimes on women and children: Kadapa SP Anburajan

Kadapa: The Kadapa Police administration which is on its initiative in implementing several schemes and social activities like Operation Muskaan which meant to rescuing children from bonded labour, Rythu Nestam to protect the farmers from private money lenders and now going ahead to chalk out a comprehensive plan for effective implementation state governments prestigious Disha Act at ground level.

As part of this efforts, the Deputy chief minister Amzath Basha has inaugurated the Disha Police station on 7th February in the district. In view of dealing Disha cases, District SP KVV Anburajan has formed a separate wing comprising one DSP, 2 Circle Inspectors, 5 Sub inspectors, 50 constables for the purpose in Disha police station in Kadapa city.

Regarding divisional and Mandal level police stations, a special division was set up with constables and women coordinators.

In view of attending the cases immediately after the incident took place sexual against children and women and dispersing the cases in a time-bound manner, the police administration has deployed total 4,300 women Coordinators in all police stations in the district.

According to the official sources, as many as 13 cases were booked related to a sexual attack on women for the last couple of months in the district. Apart from those, four cases were awarded punishment and the remaining 9 were under investigation in various stages.

When contacted by Hans India District Superintendent of Police KVV Anburajan said that there will no question of compromise in initiating stringent action against persons responsible for Eve teasing, harassment, against the child and women
