Nodal officers to monitor Spandana petitions

Eluru: Every government office should have one nodal officer to monitor the status of petitions received at Spandana and other grievance cells such as CM Praja Darbar, 1100, call centre etc.

This was disclosed by district informatics officer GSR Sarma. He conducted one-day awareness session for officials of different departments and data entry operators on Spandana programme on Thursday. He said the officials should show much care in solving petitions received under Spandana. The nodal officer should feed the status of the petitions online, he said.

He informed that for every department, user ID and password were allocated to upload and verify the petitions online. There is specific time limit for various petitions to settle them and the officials should ensure their clearance within the stipulated time, he advised.
