Noted astrologer Ganapathi Sasthry passes away at 70 in Kakinada

Kakinada: A noted Astrologer Chandrabhatla Chintamani Ganapathi Sasthry(70) died of Cardiac arrest at his house in Samarlakota on the wee hours of Sunday. He constructed Anjaneya Swamy Temple at Samarlakota along with his Guru Reliance Chairman Mukhesh Ambani. Ambani used to perform pujas in the temple every year under the aegis of Ganapathi Sasthry.

Not only Ambani, but Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt also use to visit the temple and perform the pooja during his tough times. He also served the President of Andhra Kanchi Maha Samstanam. Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Tamil Nadu Governor K. Rosayya and many top IAS and IPS officers in the state used to seek his blessings.
