Officials demolish TDP leader's residence in Nellore district

Nellore: Tensions prevail at Venkateswarapuram in Nellore district. The officials have demolished three houses that belong to TDP leader and former Corporator Salma Zaheer in Janardhan Colony.

In this context, police have been deployed in large numbers since Tuesday's morning. Former NUDA Chairman Kotamreddy Srinivasulu Reddy, who reached the site, was arrested by the police.

Nellore RDO Chinni Krishna and DSP Srinivas Reddy are overseeing the situation. The police restrictions have been imposed in the colony.
