Officials make arrangements for CM's tour of Kadapa
Kadapa: The administration is busy in making arrangements for the success of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's two-day visit to the district on July 7 and 8.
Though there was no official confirmation from the government over Chief Minister's tour in the wake of severe coronavirus menace, efforts are in full swing to conduct the programme under Standard Operational Protocol (SoP) procedure amid tight security.
Collector Ch Harikiran, SP KKN Anburajan and PADA OSD Anikumar Reddy were present at the meeting. They discussed programmes relating to laying foundation stones, inaugurations in Idupulapaya, RK Valley, and Pulivendula areas.
The meeting has decided to not allow general public except very limited number of VVIP's to the programme.
All public meetings which were proposed to be held in Pulivendula, Jammalamadugu constituencies, interactions with public were totally cancelled. Spandana workers were asked to collect representations from the public and they will be handed over to Chief Minister.
Collector Ch Harikiran said that Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy's flight will land at Kadapa air port on July 7 afternoon, leave for Idupulapaya by special helicopter where will stay for night halt.
On 8th Morning he Chief Minister along with his family members will pay tributes to his father late Rajasekhar Reddy at YSR Ghat. Later he will unveil the statue of YSR, and lay foundations.
