Officials told to verify election vehicles

Guntur: Prattipadu, Guntur East, Guntur West election observer BK Singh directed the officials to inspect all the vehicles used for election purpose and verify whether they have taken permission or not.

He addressed a meeting held in the GMC with the Guntur East and Guntur West Assembly constituencies' returning officers, accounting teams, model code of conduct implementation teams, video teams and expenditure teams on Monday.

Speaking on this occasion, he directed the officials to seize the vehicles used for election purpose without taking prior permission.

He directed the officials to count every rupee spent for elections in the expenditure and give priority to election duty and take video while inspecting the vehicles.

He instructed the officials to be more alert till the completion of elections.
