Rajamahendravaram: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Rajamahendravaram Asset Executive Director DMR Sekhar has resigned to his post, though his retirement is scheduled in the month of August this year, to enterinto politics. ONGC top brass accepted his resignation and relieved him from duties. DMR Sekhar will be joining Jana Sena Party (JSP) in the presence of party president Pawan Kalyan in Vijayawada on Monday. He may contest from Amalapuram Parliamentary Constituency on JSP ticket, it islearnt.

He said to The Hans India here on Sunday that he is joining in JSP attracted by its policiesof party president Pawan Kalyan and his aim to serve the people. He said that he is joining the party without any conditions and work as per the directions of party chief Pawan Kalyan. As asset manager in ONGC organised many rallies and meetings which were useful to the people. Abundant opportunities are available in politics to help the people, he said.
