One dead in road accident in Guntur district

Guntur: In an Incident on person has died in a road accident near the agriculture department check post at Vinukonda in Guntur district on Friday early morning.

The accident occurred when the check post staff tried to stop a lorry and the driver applied sudden brakes. With this, another lorry coming from behind collided with the front vehicle.

With the impact of the collision, the rear lorry driver died on the spot and the cleaner sustained serious injuries. On receiving the information, the police reached the accident spot, registered a case and investigating further.
