One held for duping Chittoor collector citing himself as Jagan's PA
A young man tried to cheat a district collector citing himself as the personal assistant of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. However, the collector who is quick enough in identifying his tack tick caught him. The incident was reported in Chittoor district.
Going into details, Chittoor District Collector Bharat Gupta received a WhatsApp message in the name of Chief Minister PA, asking the official to issue job orders to a person who appeared surveyor exam. Collector Bharat Gupta was who got doubts over the message has finally identified it as a false message and complained to police. Police immediately landed in the field and investigated based on the phone number.
The police who conducted the inquiry based on the number and mobile signals. The person who made the message was identified as Leelakrishna of Tandalam village in Renigunta Mandal, of Chittoor district. The police have arrested the accused who admitted that he had sent the message.
Leela Krishna who served as a Licensed Surveyor had appeared for village secretary exam and got the lesser marks. Hence, the accused resorted to also means.
