One Held For Stealing ATM Cards In Rajamundry

Ongole: Police have arrested an accused for stealing the ATM cards ATM centres. Circle Inspector Rambabu revealed the details of the accused during a press conference held at the local police station on Thursday. According to the CI Danda Ramanjaneyu, a farmer from Bobbepalli in the constituency, went to the ATM Center last month to withdraw money from the State Bank of India at Maddur.

The victim gave his ATM card to a young man who was already there and revealed pin number to and asked him to see how much cash he had in his bank account. After knowing the amount of cash in the bank. the young man left the ATM centre handing the other card to farmer.

In the course of three days, the young man had transferred the sum of Rs. 1,40,000 from farmer account to one of his friend's account. after knowing his account was debited, farmer Ramanjaneyu complaint to Police.

As part of the probe, the accused was identified as Korama Raju Veerasai Kiran of Rajahmundry. He was found guilty of similar theft in Tangutur. The police took the accused into custody and seized Rs 95,000 cash from him. SI Mallikarjunarao, ASC Balakrishna and Constable Nagoor were present at the press conference.
