Ongole : Balineni Memorial Cricket Tourney on Jan 8

Ongole : Balineni Venkateswara Reddy and Ramadevi memorial Cricket Tournament will be held on January 8 from 10 am in the ABM College Grounds in Ongole, announced the organising committee members Pasupuleti Edukondalu, Arigela Srinivasa Rao, Yangalasetty Saikrishna, Kakumanu Suneel, Sk Munna, and Sk Sadik in a press meet held in Ongole on Tuesday.

The committee members announced that the minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy will inaugurate the tournament while the minister Dr Audimulapu Suresh, MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, collector Dr Pola Bhaskara, SP Siddharth Kaushal participates as the chief guests. They said that the YSRCP MLAs and in-charges from the remaining assembly constituencies will participate in the inaugural programme as the distinguished guests.

The organisers announced that they present the first prize of Rs 1 lakh, second prize of Rs 75, 000, third prize of Rs 50,000, the man of the series prize of Rs 10,000, the best batsman, best bowler and best fielder prizes of Rs 5,000 along with the shields through the hands of youth leader Balineni Praneeth Reddy.

They also announced that they would present the man of the match awards also to the best players.
