Ongole: Bankers training programme held at RUDSETI

Ongole: The Rural Development and Self Employment Training Institute (RUDSETI) facilitated the training programme on JLG Promotion and Financing for bankers on Thursday and the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Prakasam district sponsored the programme.

The NABARD DDM V Venkata Ramana presided over the meet and thanked the officials from various banks for joining together and advised them to encourage the JLGs in the district. The LDCM Ongole Yugandhar Reddy explained that about 190 groups have been promoted already in the district and asked the managers to promote another 800 groups. Sankar, chief manager of SBI welcomed the managers to the program and advised them to focus on promoting the JLGs.

The bankers learnt about the services of the RUDSETI and appreciated its efforts.

The SBI DC Janakiramaiah, Andhra Bank DC Nagasai, Syndicate Bank FLCC Prasad, Lead Bank Manager Srinivasa Rao, RUDSETI staff and EDP trainees also participated in the program.
