Ongole: BPRD DG Kaumudi pats Prakasam SP Siddharth Kaushal
Ongole: Bureau of Police Research and Development Director General V S K Kaumudi directed the Prakasam SP Siddharth Kaushal to prepare estimations for implementing the grievance redressal mechanism through video-conferencing project, Online Spandana, in all police stations throughout the country.
To save money and time to people visiting his office in Ongole from far off places on every Monday to submit petitions in the grievance programme Spandana, the SP installed video-conferencing system at all police stations. He advised the public to interact with him through the video-conference and register complaints through Spandana Online.
This system is extended further to receive complaints from people anywhere in the world but has an issue in the limits of Prakasam police and called it as Spandana beyond Borders.

He met the BPRD DG and other officers and scientists in the National Police Mission Meeting in New Delhi on Friday and explained about the Spandana Online, Spandana Beyond Borders, Virtual Classroom training, Project Junior Investigation Officers and their weekly reviews online, performance appraisals meetings by conducting the live demonstration.
The officers also interacted with a complaint visiting the Darsi police station during the presentation and the SP issued necessary orders from the meeting.
Appreciating the low cost but high-performance initiatives, DG Kaumudi ordered the SP Siddharth Kaushal to come with the estimations to implement the same system in all police stations across the country and give a similar live demonstration to the Home Minister at the National Conference of Young IPS Officers to be scheduled soon.
