Ongole: Chandrababu obstructing civic polls, alleged Ronda Anji Reddy
Ongole: The Telugu Desam Party was using the State Election Commission for its political gain, alleged YSRCP Prakasam district general secretary Ronda Anji Reddy. He said that to temporarily save from the embarrassment of defeat in local body elections, Chandrababu Naidu utilised his connection with the SEC N Ramesh Kumar and postponed election. Speaking in a press meet, Anji Reddy said that the YSRCP has unanimously won nearly 3,000 MPTC seats and 40 percent of the ZPTCs in the state and the trend was continuing in municipal elections.
He said that though Chandrababu Naidu knows that the state loses more than Rs 5000 crore if the local bodies are not formed by March 31, he colluded with the State Election Commission for political gain and postponed the elections. He said that there were just one or two Coronavirus cases in the state but the public should fear the Nara virus more than the epidemic. He said that the chief minister has kept 90 percent of the promises made in the manifesto in just nine months and the people love him for that. Due to the increasing confidence in the chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu and his party members will be washed away in the elections, he announced.
