Ongole: Doctorate for Prakasam Engineering College professor

Ongole: Associate Professor R Giriprasad working in Prakasam Engineering College received Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on 5G technology during the 23rd Convocation of the Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Mahavidyalayam situated at Kanchi in Tamil Nadu on Thursday, the college correspondent Kancharla Ramaiah said in a statement here on Friday.

He said that it was a proud moment from the college as the associate professor received the doctorate from Member of Parliament and noted economist Dr Subrahmanya Swamy in the presence of Varsity Chancellor Dr Jaya Rami Reddy and vice-chancellor DR SV Raghavan.

Kanchi Kamakoti Pithadhipati Sri Vijayendra Saraswati who was present on the dais blessed the associate professor and offered him Prasadam.

Dr Giriprasad said that the 5G technology is going to rule the roast in future and he conducted research in that technology which was published in the international journals and later presented the thesis for PhD.

Correspondent Kancharla Ramaiah, treasurer Srikanth, principal Dr M Lakshmana Rao, vice-principal V Haribabu and teaching and non-teaching staff congratulated the associate professor.
