Ongole: Government will support welfare of Brahmins said MLA chairman Malladi Vishnu
Ongole: The Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation chairman Malladi Vishnu announced that the state government is implementing many programmes for the welfare and development of Brahmins.
Vishnu, along with Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy distributed micro loans worth Rs 70 lakh to the members of 180 societies under Arundhati and Vasishta schemes through the Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Cooperative Credit Society, in Ongole on Monday. Vishnu said that the credit of providing corruption-free governance goes to the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He said that while in the government, the TDP had ignored promises and now its president Chandrababu Naidu was making corruption charges against the YSRCP government. He advised the beneficiaries to utilize the loans given to them for development.
Balineni Srinivasa Reddy advised the poor Brahmins who didn't have housing plots, to apply for them immediately so that the government will issue them in the next month.
