Ongole: Congress party Prakasam district president Eda Sudhakar Reddy said that the State government was conducting the panchayat, municipal, MPTC and ZPTC elections in a hurry and during the time of exams for the students just because of lack of administrative awareness.

Speaking at the press meet held in DCC office, Sudhakar Reddy said that the government was psychologically harassing the students and officials with the hurry conduct of elections this month.

He opined that the campaign for the elections is going to disturb the students preparing for various exams, and the students would lose concentration and get fewer marks.

He said that the Congress party was the only party that has developed the rural areas.

He mentioned that the Congress party has completed more than 60 percent of the Veligonda project before 2014, but the remaining is not completed even in 6 years rule of TDP and YSRCP.

He said that the roads and parks were developed by the Congress party and completed the Gundlakamma project for drinking water supply to the town, but the TDP and YSRCP failed to provide water to the full extent at least now.

He advised the people not to believe Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy with regard to passing a resolution against CAA and NRC in the Assembly and requested them to vote for Congress.
