Ongole: Inter-Polytechnic Sports Meet underway

Ongole: The second day of the 24th State level Inter-Polytechnic Sports and Games Meet at PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences witnessed bright performances from players and great support from the audience and management.

The RJD of technical education SVU region V Padmarao, AD of technical education AU region Sankar, secretary and correspondent of PACE College Dr M Sridhar, AP Polytechnic physical directors association president B Raghunatha Reddy, PACE polytechnic college principal J Sivanagaraju participated in the introduction of players of various categories and wished them all the best.

In the girls category, S Divya from Prakasam district won the first place in discus throw while Ch Yasaswini from Guntur and K Kaveri from Chittoor secure the second and third positions. In the triple jump boys category, D Anil Kumar from Prakasam, M Anil Kumar from West Godavari, D Balakrishna Reddy from Krishna won the first, second and third categories. PACE college physical director Madhusudhan Rao announced that the sports meet will conclude on Wednesday.
