Ongole : Jagan continuing legacy of YSR says Balineni Srinivasa Reddy
Ongole : The minister for Energy, Forests, Environment, Science, And Technology Balineni Srinivasa Reddy said that the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is continuing the legacy of his father YS Rajasekhar Reddy in providing the fruits of welfare schemes to all poor people.
Participating in the housing plots distribution to the 200 beneficiaries from Cheruvukommupalem, Arava Colony, Ashok Nagar, and Chaitanya Nagar at NTR Kalakshetram in Ongole on Wednesday, the minister announced that the government is distributing all welfare schemes to the eligible persons, irrespective of their political affiliation.
He announced that the officials have identified 1.33 lakh beneficiaries in the district and they are ready to include any left out eligible persons. He said that some are trying to disturb the housing plots distribution by filing cases in courts.
He assured that the remaining beneficiaries in the town will also get the plots once the court cases are settled. He said that they consider disagreements and disputes only up to the elections, but will provide all benefits to every eligible person.
The district collector Dr Pola Bhaskara, joint collector JV Murali, RDO Prabhakar Reddy, Aryavysya Corporation chairman Kuppam Prasad, Devanga Corporation chairman Surendra Babu, OMC commissioner Bhagya Lakshmi, tahsildar Chiranjeevi and others also participated in the programme.
