Ongole: Jagan implementing Ambedkar's ideology

Ongole: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is implementing the ideologies of Ambedkar, Phule, Jagjeevan Ram and other social reformers in the true spirit and is providing a level playing field for everyone, said Ministers Balineni Srinivasa Reddy and Adimulapu Suresh.

The YSRCP leaders, District Collector, Joint Collector and other officials participated in the 'Matladukundam Randi' program organised by the Santhanuthalapadu MLA TJR Sudhakar Babu in Ongole on Wednesday evening. The participants passed a resolution in support of the three capitals for Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking in the program with the theme 'Dr BR Ambedkar's Ideology- YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Implementation', Minister for Forests and Environment Balineni Srinivasa Reddy said that Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has fulfilled 80 per cent of the promises made in the manifesto in just eight months of coming into power. He said that the three capitals, the executive capital, judicial capital and legislative capitals were important for the fast development of the state. He said that they will establish solar units at Darsi and Kanigiri constituencies to produce 2000 megawatts of power.

Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh said that Jagan Mohan Reddy believes in Ambedkar's view that the society develops only with the development of education. He said that the government has allocated 16 per cent of the budget to education and is implementing many revolutionary programs like Nadu Nedu, Amma Vodi, Rajanna Badibata, Jagananna Vidya Deevena etc. He said that in the days of globalization, one must be capable of utilizing opportunities across the world and that is the reason for the implementation of English medium.
