Ongole: Janata Curfew total in Prakasam district

Ongole: People in Prakasam district on Sunday voluntarily observed Janata Curfew in an effort to fight coronavirus. The district administration successfully motivated people to observe Janata curfew to contain Covid-19. The people also responded positively. The temples, mosques and churches were also been shut.

The priests urged the devotees not to visit temples on Sunday. The streets, bus and railway stations were deserted. There were no bus services form Saturday night in the district.

The granite factories and quarries in Chimakurthy and Martur area also closed their operations for the day. The factories and workshops in the district also announced a holiday for the workers. However, the sanitation workers as usual attended to their duties. Bleaching powder was used along the drainages and water logging areas. The police personnel were on duty.
