Ongole Lions Club holds free medical camp

Doctors examining poor patients at a free medical camp organised by Lions Club of Ongole Citizens on Friday

Ongole: A free medical camp was organised by Lions Club of Ongole Citizens on the Vijetha School premises on Friday. Eight doctors of KIMS hospital-- Dr Kamalhasan, Dr V Prashant, Dr V Suresh, Dr D Pavani, Dr N Chandrashekar, Dr Ch Nandakishore, Narasimha Murthy and other participated in the medical camp.

Club president Lion Dr Shaikh said that the club was organising free medical camp to the poor as the treatment has become a costly affair these days. ECG, BP, blood test were conducted for about 280 poor people at the camp.

They were given medical advice according to their problems and medicines were given free. He said that they would organise a free medical camp every month henceforth.

Project chair person Lion VV Ramana, Lion M Narsimha Rao, Lion Ch Srinivas Reddy, Lion Sridevi, Lion DV Raghava and others participated in the medical camp.
