Ongole: Nurse, husband test positive for coronavirus

Ongole: A nurse working in the Government General Hospital here and her husband tested positive for the Coronavirus on Wednesday. Alerted by the results, the hospital management conducted tests on contacts and associates of the nurse in the hospital, according to Hospital Superintendent.

In a bulletin released on Wednesday, the authorities said seven persons belonging to Veligandla mandal, were diagnosed with virus. They all returned from Mumbai. They are receiving treatment in hospital.

District COVID-19 coordinator revealed that a nurse working GGH and her husband were also found infected with Coronavirus. Hospital Superintendent Dr Diguvinti Sriramulu said the husband of the nurse visited his brother at Guntur recently and the latter tested positive for virus.
