Ongole: PACE Institute celebrates 12th anniversary in grand manner

Ongole: The 12th anniversary celebrations are held in a grand manner at the PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences, announced the college secretary and correspondent Dr Maddisetty Sridhar on Saturday. Inaugurating the celebrations, Sridhar announced that it is a moment of pride for them as the Union government has extended the NBA accreditation for three more years for the college.

He thanked the teaching and non-teaching staff for keeping the high standards of the institution and informed that they were introducing more innovation programmes, training programmes on the latest technologies for the benefit of students. College Principal Dr M Srinivasan submitted a brief report on the educational excellence in the last year and explained about the successes achieved in various programmes.

The college management has felicitated the staff who is working for more than 10 years in the institution and presented gifts to them. As part of the celebrations, the students participated in various cultural programmes. The management presented gifts to the best academic performers for the last year and prizes for students and staff who won in the sports tournaments. Vice-principal Dr G V K Murthy, Director of Planning and Development Dr Ramakrishna, convener Dr Raj Anand, deans and heads of all departments, teaching and non-teaching staff and students also participated in the programme.
