Ongole: Samuel George services to education sector recalled

Ongole: Education Minister Dr Audimulapu Suresh on Sunday stated that his father Samuel George started the educational institutions in Marakapuram with a motto to provide higher education to poor and weaker sections of the society.

Participating in the 88th birth anniversary celebrations of Samuel George at Samuel George College of Engineering in Markapuram, Suresh thanked the locals for their love and support towards his family. He assured that he would work for development of western area of the district and promised that his family was committed to walk in the pathway laid by his father.

He thanked the Chief Minister for giving an opportunity to him to work as the education minister and said that he is putting all efforts to be part of the revolutionary changes in the education field in the state.

College principal K V S Narayana, vice-principal Rajababu, dean Mastanaiah, pastor Andrews, YSRCP leaders Palireddy Krishnareddy, Yerva Chalamareddy and others also participated in the programme.
