Ongole: SBI Officers Association felicitates Covid nodal officer Dr John Richards

Ongole: The Amaravati Circle State Bank of India Officers Association members felicitated the Prakasam district COVID-19 nodal officer Dr Lingam John Richards in the Ongole regional office on Wednesday.

The SBI regional manager P Sudhakar praised the invaluable efforts of the doctors, who are in the frontline in the fight against the Coronavirus. He observed that Dr John Richards conducting tests, providing the treatment to patients, without taking any leave since the establishment of Corona Ward in at GGH Ongole. He said that many of the bank employees in the district suffered from the COVID-19, and they will remember the services and commitment of Dr Richards.

Dr Richards said that there is no need to panic when they are announced infected with the Coronavirus. He said that the fear of the virus is more dangerous than the virus itself. He assured that taking treatment with a good diet and following the advice of the doctors will help any person recover in a week.

The association members and staff also felicitated the doctors and house surgeons at GGH Ongole and appreciated their relentless services. The association assistant general secretaries P Venkateswarlu and L Jayakumar, regional secretary V Srinivasa Rao, assistant treasurer B Adinarayana, members K Janakiramaiah, B Suresh, S Subbarao, PB Chandrasekhar, staff union vice-president Vijay Mohan, chief managers CV Sankar, GV Kiran, P Krishnamurthy and others also participated in the programme.
