Ongole: State fails to draft constructive measures, says Purandeswari
Ongole: BJP Mahila Morcha national president Daggubati Purandeswari alleged that the state government has failed in drafting constructive steps for the welfare and development of the state.
Speaking to media here on Friday, Purandeswari said the YSRCP leaders themselves are alleging that the sand policy of the government was a failure and the commonman is not able to get at least a handful of sand in the state.
She said that the officials were confiscating the bulls and bullock carts of locals, who are trying to get sand from reaches, though the government announced that the public can take the sand for free on bullock carts for their constructions.
She said the government was resorting to vindictive politics, not constructive politics. She shared an example that the government has demolished the Prajavedika constructed during the tenure of TDP but didn't touch other constructions on the Krishna riverbank.
Responding to the arrest of Kinjarapu Atchannaidu in the ESI scam, she said that the law will take its own course and those who resorted to corruption should be punished.
She also reminded that the YSRCP government has published a book 'Emperor of Corruption' on former chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and demanded the party to go ahead to investigate and act on his corruption quoted in the book.
Purandeswari said the BJP government in the Centre has worked with the motto 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' from 2014 to 2019 and now is focussing on 'Sabka Viswas' too in this term.
She added the Modi government has taken courageous decisions like repealing Article 370, CAA, Triple Talaq bills and solution for Ram Mandir by taking confidence of Muslim bodies.
