Ongole: YV Subba Reddy felicitated for efforts in realising Ramayapatnam Port

Ongole: The Development Organization for Socioeconomic Change in Prakasam district felicitated the TTD Chairman and former Ongole MP YV Subba Reddy on Wednesday, appreciating his efforts and services in realizing the Ramayapatnam port in Prakasam district.

The organization president Chunduri Rangarao, along with their members K Aruna, Rahaman, Kommuri Kanakarao met YS Subba Reddy and felicitated him with a bouquet and shawl on behalf of the Prakasam district people. He explained to the former MP that they are thanking the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for taking initiation to construct the port at Ramayapatnam by reducing the exclusive rights of Krishnapatnam port and approving the detailed project report submitted by the Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES). The organization also thanked the cabinet members for passing a resolution to give the responsibility of construction of the port to the central government, if it comes forward.

The members said that no other project would do great benefit to the Prakasam district than the port at Ramayapatnam. They thanked Subba Reddy for his efforts and relentless fight in convincing the state and central governments about the Ramayapatnam Port and Veligonda project in the district and wished more support to the public in the future.
