Ophthalmology Day observed

Visakhapatnam: The third annual day of Paws and Tails, Visakhapatnam celebrated as 'Ophthalmology Day' in collaboration with Kamdhenu University, Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat and Rotary Club, Visakha Port City.

D B Patil, Director (Research) & Dean (Post-Graduate Studies) and Divyesh Nareshbhai Kelawala, Assistant Professor from Kamdhenu University, Gandhinagar Gujarat, renowned ophthalmologists were invited to grace this occasion.

As part of it, an interactive meeting was also held. Close to 85 Pet Parents actively participated in it. Usha Ramani, a computer programmer from Vizianagaram welcomed the guests. Neralla Sridhar, Chief Veterinary Surgeon, Paws N Tails gave a presentation on the establishment of clinic in Visakhapatnam, covering various events, and development of clinic from its inception.

Patil also gave a presentation on 'Wellness of Pets', covering various aspects including tips to keep pet animals in good and healthy condition. Some of the pet parents appreciated the service rendered by Paws and Tails at the programme.
