Speaking on the occasion, Nani said that modern medical treatment should be provided to the poor in corporate hospitals under YSR Arogya Trust services. If the name of the patient was not included in the list for which treatment is offered, then the government would extend financial help from Chief Minister's Relief Fund, he promised.

The Dy CM said that in rural areas people still have been approaching local doctors for want of awareness when the government is ready to offer modern medical treatment at government hospitals. This scenario must change and Asha workers can do a lot by bringing awareness among the rural population, he opined.

Stating that in the recent times, the presence of diabetes was prevalent, Nani suggested the patients to approach government hospitals for necessary tests and also get medicines free of cost.
