Parliament sessions: TDP MP Kesineni Nani demands the protection of Regional languages

The parliament session has started on Monday. TDP asked the centre in the Lok Sabha to explain the steps taken by the Center for the Protection of Regional Languages. During the questionnaire, TDP MP Kesineni Nani said that there is a need to protect regional languages asked to implement the trilingual policy in the educational system.

YSRCP MP Raghurama Krishnaraju has demanded the release of funds from the Center for Telugu Academy. They wanted to develop Telugu as a great language.

Union Minister for Human Resources Ramesh Pokhriyal replied to the members' questions in the House. He said that the central government was thinking of strengthening regional Indian languages. The company in Mysore has been shifted to Nellore to consolidate the Telugu language.

"It has started functioning from November 13. There will be discussions on workshops and conferences on Telugu language. All measures are being taken to uplift the Telugu language," the minister asserted.
