Parties condemn transfer of SP in Chittoor

Chittoor: Leaders of various political parties condemned the transfer of top police official in the district. Protesting against the transfer of Chittoor SP Ch V Appala Naidu , the CPI has organised a protest at Gandhi Statue on Saturday.

CPI district secretary A Rama Naidu has lambasted the government's policy in transferring the honest and committed officers. `` SP Ch V Appala Naidu has just completed only three months in the present post. He has done marvellous job in arresting the sand mafia gang in the district.

As he thwarted undue pressures from the ruling YCP bigwigs, he was transferred inhumanly," Rama Naidu said. He demanded Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy to cancel the transfer orders of Chittoor SP.

CPI leaders Janardhan, Vijayakumar, Gurrappa, Vijaya Lakshmi and others spoke. Meanwhile , District TDP president P Nani , BJP chief Haribabu, CPM leader P Chaithanya and others also condemned the government for transferring Chittoor SP.
