Pawan demands action on cop for harassing a Jana Sena cadre
Amaravati: The Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan demanded the Police department to take immediate action against the police who were responsible for instigating one of the party cadre, Unnamatla Lokesh to attempt suicide. Pawan Kalyan criticised that the police harassed the deceased since he questioned the government on illegal sand activities carrying out by the ruling YSRCP.
Pawan Kalyan said that Lokesh of Tadepalligudem made suicide attempt unable to bear the policemen harassment. "It indicates dictatorship the way the police acted harassing him for preventing and questioning the illegal transportation of sand. It is learnt that Lokesh took the extreme step following the harassment by Circle Inspector Raghu. Is it lawful to harass those who oppose illegal activities?".
The Jana Sena demanded that immediate action must be taken against police officer Raghu. He appealed to the Jana Sena district leaders to instil courage for Lokesh and his family members.
