Pawan Kalyan likely to meet BJP top brass today ahead of Local Body elections
The Jana Sena chief and Tollywood actor Pawan Kalyan is likely to visit Delhi on Friday to meet BJP top brass. Most importantly, the actor turned politician would meet the BJP national president JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
The Jana Sena chief will discuss the ongoing political developments in the state with the central government. As the local body elections are said to be held in the fourth week of the month, Pawan's meeting has got importance. Both the parties are likely to chalk out the political strategy and seat-sharing to compete in the upcoming elections for Local Bodies. It is a known fact that BJP and Jana Sena forged an alliance in January.
On the other hand, the Andhra Pradesh BJP president Kanna Lakshmi Narayana on Thursday asserted that the BJP and Jana Sena would together contest the local body elections and directed the party cadre to prepare for elections. He said, they would constitute a committee headed by Purandeshwari to move forward in elections. In the meanwhile, the Election Commission is preparing for the election of local bodies in Andhra Pradesh.
