Pawan Kalyan promises to bring agri revolution
Anantapur: Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan has stated that he would bring revolutionary changes in Agriculture by introducing Israel type of farming methods and technology in Anantapur district, if Jana Sena is voted to power in the 2019 Assembly elections.
Addressing election meetings at Dharmavaram and Anantapur in the district on Thursday, Pawan Kalyan said that he would work for the development of faction-ridden Rayalaseema and end factional feuds and bring about industrialisation of the district. If his party is elected to power, he would mould 10,000 young farmers as model farmers and introduce modern technology into farming to make it profitable.
Pawan Kalyan had a dig at the ruling TDP government for acquiring huge tracts of lands for establishing industries. Why would a small or medium scale industries require hundreds of acres of land ? he askedPawan Kalyan demanded jobs to locals in Kia Motors. Otherwise what good the company can do to local people if jobs are denied to them, he questioned.
He referred to his own promise of contesting from Anantapur saying that he would have contested from Anantapur had the local leaders assured him of victory. He however appealed to party workers and people that he would do everything for Anantapur development irrespective of who the candidate is and urged people to vote for local Jana Sena candidate Varun and also Dharmavaram and Guntakal candidates Madhusudan and Gupta and Parliament CPI candidate D Jagadesh and bring Jana Sena to power.
