Pawan Kalyan stages Deeksha on govt's silence overcompensation to flood-affected farmers
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan demanded the Jagan government to help the Nivar cyclone effected farmers and has put some demands before the government giving deadline till December 6. However, with no response from the government, the party announced that Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan staging a Deeksha at his residence at 10 a.m. in demand to the government to provide Rs 35,000 as compensation and Rs 10,000 as immediate relief to the farmers affected by the cyclone.
Earlier, two days ago, Pawan Kalyan demanded that the Jagan government help farmers affected by the Nivar cyclone across the state. He toured the storm-affected areas where farmers are suffering due to crop loss and opined that farmers tears are not good for the state. "This is the third time this year that the crop has been damaged and farmers have complained to me," he said.
They demanded that the government immediately supported the farmers who lost their crops and to allocate the income got from alcohol. He warned that if the government does not respond, protests will be held from the 7th of this month in support of the farmers.
