Pawan sets 2 weeks deadline for government
Visakhapatnam: Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan has said that the party is setting a deadline of two weeks for the YSRCP to resolve the sand crisis.
Addressing a huge gathering of construction workers, 'Jana Sainiks', volunteers and partymen who assembled at Old Jail Road after the conclusion of the long march of JSP on Sunday evening, Pawan Kalyan said, "If the government is still not paying heed to the concern, we will intensify our fight taking up the issue to New Delhi and conducting another march in Amaravati."
Asserting that he had nothing against YSRCP, the JSP chief mentioned that his sole objective is to extend support to lakhs of construction workers whose life is at stake. "Government's policy is impacting people.
Sand crisis is affecting not just the construction industry but scores of allied sectors as well. It is unfortunate that already 36 construction workers had committed suicide," he lamented. A minute-long silence was observed in respect of the 36 construction workers who committed suicide across the State in the recent past.
